Planned your New Year's Eve Party ?

So what are your plans for the New Year ? Don't have any yet? Why not plan a get together with family and friends? It would be a great way to start the year. It could be a small or huge one depending on the amount of people you would like to invite. I would suggest a small one though. Nothing like being with my family on the eve and New Years and furthermore it will show how much you actually want to be with them and they will definitely feel appreciated. What else do we need in life, if it is not seeing that smile on our loved ones' faces.

So let's plan the party of the year!

Firstly, grab your mobile phone. Send out a short text for invitation. If you want something more fancy, then maybe you could make some invitation cards, but I wouldn't encourage this as you will be using paper and how are we supposed to save trees if we did that? Another option would be emails, which might not be as convenient for most people.

Then, plan with a budget because over-spending over the New Year isn't the best way to start it. This solely depends on the amount of people that are invited. So don't under or over budget for the party. After you have done that, set a suitable menu for the party. Will there be finger-food or a proper dinner? Make sure you take note of the allergies of the people that you have invited. I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't want to ruin the party with any sort of unfortunate events. After that, it's time for the shopping. Go get the groceries and decorations within the budget that you planned earlier.

Besides that, make sure that you have a good plan of activities during the party. Get a nice playlist of song suitable for the party. Plan games to keep everyone enjoying the party. If there are kids, make sure that they are well occupied while the older ones have an amazing time.

Don't forget the countdown.

Well, honestly all of this is very materialistic. You don't really need to spend money for a perfect New Year celebration. I am saying that because I'm going to snuggle in my couch with my mum on the eve and countdown to New Year with her without a party and I can already say that it is going to be amazing as it is going to be a beautiful 2015 even without a lot of people around.

But I hope those who will be celebrating on the Eve of New Year have a blissful time. Make sure you don't drink and drive and be safe!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

New Year's Resolution ?

I'm sure that many of you guys are all geared up to start the new year ahead but slow down. What are you looking forward to in 2015? Want to give up a bad habit? Or do you want to try something new ?

I know many people that would say, 'New Year, new me.' Many of us would have said that at least once in our life time. I'm admitting that I did. Not many years ago though. I was like, "Screw this shit! I'm going to be a changed person. I will improve my grades, I will work out everyday, I will make the best of everyday, I will not complain and I will start to appreciate everything." Ohh boy.. Who was I kidding. I never did any of those stuff. Maybe I was a little enthusiastic about it in the beginning. But yeah, it was a waste of time thinking about those ridiculous resolutions.

So this New Year, it's going to be different and more realistic.

My 2015 resolution is to not have resolution and just do whatever that pleases me at that moment.

If you have a resolution and you known that you will definitely do it then go ahead, no one is stopping you but be realistic because you know what you are capable of.

Since it's the 3rd last day of 2014, I would like to recap my year a little.

I promise that this won't be time consuming as I am going to summarise it as much as possible.

2014 wasn't precisely the best year that I have had. Tons of downs and a handful of ups which I'm pretty much very grateful for. I have become a little sociable this year. Guess that I'm finally leaving my shell and realising certain things. I made friends with a few people that I never thought I would ever talk to. I have learnt different cultures and people around the world. I realised that blood isn't always thicker than water. The term family is overrated. Anyone can let you down anytime. There will always be people wanting to drag you down and all you should do is to prove to them how strong you are. I also learnt a little about different religions. Despite some of it being contrast to each other, they did have similarities. The thought of knowing about religion made me realise how ignorant I have been about my own religion. Even though I never had a chance to choose my religion, I should have taken the time to learn a little about what it is. I'm glad that I would be ending 2014 with a little curiosity about my religion. That shows that my mentality is changing which is a brilliant thing to start off with. And last but never the least, 2014 has taught me about love. For a love sucker that I am, I guess I should let it go for once. It has been a long year but I got through it all by myself and it feels good to not be clingy.

So that was a part of my 2014.

Cheers to an amazing New Year to everyone.

How to be a better person.

Well, I'm not a proffesional at this but I am working to become a better person. Sometimes becoming better could change a lot of things in your life. You could attract the best out of it, but it's catchy because obviously you can't become better without doing anything. Yeapp, you need to work on several things to improve your life for the better or perhaps the best. And I'm going to tell you how you could do that.

1. Find your purpose of life.

We are all sent to Earth to do something and this may vary among people but we have a purpose to be here. This purpose is a fulfilment of your life. It's particularly important for everyone to figure their life purpose and work towards acheiving it. This purpose is the key to your life.

2. Be a better person in every way to people around you.

Appreciate and acknowledge people around you. These people are the people who make your life beautiful and it will make you look forward to days ahead. Be a better friend to your friend without expectations. Spend time with your family and show them that you sincerely care. If you're in a relationship, commit to your partner. Try to improve your performance if you are an employee.

3. Learn something new.

Enhance your skills and learn new ones. Skills are always an advantage that you could gain a lot from. By learning something new, you might even get a job.

4. Be accepting.

Start accepting that not everyone is the same. We don't think the same way. We are all different in many ways.

5. Travel.

Go explore this beautiful world. There's so much to see and learn from. Different and unique cultures and traditions all around the world. This will also broaden your prespectives.

6. Have best intentions on others

Always have good intention when you do anything.

7. Volunteer

It is important to know that not everything is about money. There's a different satisfaction when you do something good without getting anything in return.

8. Be attentive.

Listen when people talk. Most of us are too selfish that we can't spare a couple of minutes to listen. We hear a lot but rarely listen.

9. Be bold.

Be bold with your instinct and boldly create the life you want.

10. Be kind.

Always find for chances where you can offer any sort of help to others.

11. Have faith.

Seek for the best within yourself and have faith that everything will be fine.

12. Be forgiving.

Let go of your anger. Forgive those that hurt you and let go of the past.
